Toasted orzo with lamb, veggies and fried halloumi – so delish!
INGREDIENTS
2 cups toasted orzo
1 pepper, chopped
four cups spinach
1 lb floor lamb
1 tsp fried rosemary
1 tsp floor cumin
1 tsp dried oregano
1/2 tsp salt and pepper
1-2 cups halloumi cheese, sliced
RECIPE
In small pot, boil water then add orzo and prepare dinner for 9 minutes then drain and put aside. In giant pan, warmth EVOO to medium excessive warmth then add floor lamb and all seasonings. Cook dinner lamb till for Eight minutes till browned. Use paper towel to do away with extra oil then add in chopped bell pepper and prepare dinner for 5-Eight minutes till softened. Add in spinach and prepare dinner for five minutes, stirring continuously.
Add orzo to pan and blend collectively.
In separate pan, add EVOO on medium excessive warmth then add in halloumi cooking for two minutes on all sides till golden brown. Serve orzo combination topped with fried halloumi.
